Archbishop Luis F. Ladaria, a Spanish Jesuit theologian who is currently the Secretary of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, has been a professor of theology at the Papal Gregorian University of Rome since 1984. He was also a professor at the Comillas University in Madrid, and from 1992 to 1997 he was a member of the International Theological Commission. Since 2004 he has been the general secretary of that commission. Among his most recognized publications in Spanish are: “Antropología teológica” (“Theological Anthropology”, 1983, 1987,1995, 2007); two studies in Spanish on the thinking of San Hilario de Poitiers, one on the Trinity (1986) and one on Christology (1989); a dictionary on San Hilario de Poitiers (2006); “El Dios vivo y verdadero” (“The Living and True God”, 1998, 2005); and the present work, “Jesucristo, salvación de todos” (“Jesus Christ, Salvation of All”, 2007). |
